Louise Wigglesworth

Throughout her professional life as a secondary and college arts educator, Louise spent years studying and painting in oil and water media for the pure joy of it. That painting journey led her to learn from outstanding teachers in the Department of Art at Rowan University, with The Pine Island Art Association in Florida, and with other respected artists in workshops on a variety of styles and techniques. Her paintings have won awards, have sold in galleries and exhibitions in New Jersey and Florida, and are part of collections, including those of Rowan University, Babcock Ranch Community and The Laboratory Theater of Florida. As a founding member of The Laboratory Theater in Fort Myers, Louise designed numerous stage productions as well as serving as their playwright/educator in residence. Louise and her husband recently re-located to Maryland where she continues to delve, through both image and word, into the deep mystery and beauty of the natural world that shapes and nurtures us.
