Grant Opportunities

The Arts Council of Calvert County’s annual grant season opens August 1 and are awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Applications received within the month of submission will be notified by the end of the following month. (For example: Applications received in August will be notified by the end of September.)

Funding for grants offered by the Arts Council of Calvert County originate from a combination of the Maryland State Arts Council, foundation and private grants, community sponsors, and private donors. Grantees must give credit to the Arts Council of Calvert County and the Maryland State Arts Council in brochures, programs, news releases, publications, online advertisements, and all other publicity materials. Projects must take place within the fiscal year for which they are applied (fiscal year begins July 1 and ends June 30). Applications are reviewed by the Grants Review committee.

Grant Recognition Guidelines

If awarded a grant from ACCC, acknowledgement of ACCC grants must be prominently displayed in all materials and announcements for your grant-funded project, including in print and online publications, as well as verbal announcements.

Minimum language requirements:

  • “This [performance, program, event, presentation, etc.] is funded in part by the Arts Council of Calvert County’s [Arts in Education; Community] grant. To learn more, visit www.calvertarts.org/grants.”

The Arts Council of Calvert County’s and the Maryland State Arts Council’s official logos must also be included on all in print and online publications. Use the buttons below to download versions of the ACCC and MSAC logos.
