Sponsorship Opportunities 

The mission of the Barn Quilt Trail is to connect our community and visitors by promoting Calvert County’s agricultural heritage, local history and artistic talent through the exhibition of hand-painted quilt squares on barns and buildings throughout Calvert County.

The success of the Barn Quilt Trail includes property owners who host squares at their locations throughout Calvert County and from generous donors who sponsor each quilt square. Barn Quilt Square sponsorships are for 2'x2', 4'x4' or 8'x8' sizes. Check out the Barn Quilt Trail sponsorship page for more information about how to participate!

Each quarter, we host a Gallery After Hours reception at CalvART Gallery where visitors can come meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and surround themselves with local art at this evening mixer event. The After Hours event is also a chance for visiting artists or musicians to showcase their work.

Sponsorship includes your name/business on marketing for the event and ability to have your business information at the reception.

Dates for the 2025 After Hours events are: 

   March 20  -  June 19  -  Sept 18  -  Dec 18  from 5-7pm

The Mary Beth Harry Student Gallery, located in our CalvART Gallery in Prince Frederick, hosts a rotating array of student artwork from around Calvert County. Teachers from the public schools, private schools, and homeschools in Calvert County can sign up for a month to feature their students' artwork in the gallery!

Sponsorship for a student reception includes your name/business on marketing for the event and ability to have your business information at the reception. Plus--the satisfaction of knowing you're supporting the creativity of kids in our community!

The Arts Council is partnering with the Friends of Calvert Library to bring the community "Let's Go" bus tours. We will have regular bus tours that leave from Prince Frederick to visit points of cultural interest in the region such as the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Museums, and more!

Sponsorship for a Let's Go tour includes your name/business on marketing for the event and ability to have your business information at check-in for the bus tour, which is at CalvART Gallery in Prince Frederick.

The Kocen Arts Center, located at 22 Duke Street in Prince Frederick, is the Arts Council's newest addition to offer arts programs for the Calvert County community. The Arts Center will offer local and visiting artists and organizations a venue to host art classes and programs for the public.

The Arts Council will also be regularly offering free or low-cost art classes to better serve the community with opportunities to connect and experience the arts no matter who you are.

Sponsorship for an art class covers the cost of paying an artist instructor and supplies needed for the class. It includes your name/business on marketing for the event and ability to have your business information at the art class.
